John Bonney has spent 35 years in the heavy-duty truck industry and all 35 years with the company. Over that time, he has developed extensive experience with power steering and fan clutches. His product knowledge includes Kit Masters, TRW, R.H. Sheppard and Vickers. John enjoys helping customers solve problems and get to the root of what went wrong. He believes it is important to explain what caused the problem and what needs to be done to fix it correctly. His approach to customer service has remained simple throughout his career. Bubba Livingston
Bus and Heavy Duty Parts Expert
Bubba Livingston brings 38 years of parts industry experience, including about eight years with Chalk’s Truck Parts. He got his start working in the auto parts industry while still in high school and has since built extensive knowledge in truck and school bus parts, with particular familiarity with International Trucks. Over the years, Bubba has helped customers solve a wide range of parts-related issues. His focus is simple: identify what they need, get the right part in their hands, and help get their truck or school bus back on the road as quickly as possible. His strong parts knowledge and years of experience are a major part of the service he provides. Outside of work, Bubba enjoys hunting, fishing, classic cars, and just about anything outdoors.

Alex Vences
Parts Expert
Alex has worked in the automotive industry since 2010 and joined Chalk’s Truck Parts in 2018. He graduated from Universal Technical Institute in 2009 with a certification in automotive and diesel technology. Since then, he has built extensive experience in the parts industry. Alex specializes in power steering and school bus parts as well as air brake compressors, manual transmissions and clutches. He has extensive knowledge of Bendix, TRW, Sheppard and similar manufacturers. He is especially skilled at identifying power steering components and helping customers get their vehicles back on the road. Alex approaches every customer as if it were a friend or family member walking through the door or calling for help. That mindset shapes the care and attention he gives each customer. Outside of work, Alex stays busy coaching soccer and spending time with family and friends. He is also a football fan who enjoys grilling and cooking in his free time.

Johnathon Talbot

JT has spent his entire 14-year heavy-duty truck industry career with Chalk’s Truck Parts, starting in the shipping department before moving into Bus Parts Sales. Today, he specializes in school bus parts and is especially skilled at helping customers identify and locate the right components. His product knowledge includes International, Thomas, Blue Bird, Rosco, BESI, IMMI, HSM, Opti-Luxx, Omega, and Bergstrom. For JT, good customer service starts with listening. He combines experience, care, and industry know-how to help solve customers’ parts needs while building strong, lasting relationships along the way. Outside of work, JT enjoys playing golf and coaching his son’s and daughter’s baseball and softball teams. And if there’s any question where his football loyalty lies: Go Cowboys!

Alan Heiser
Parts Manager
Alan brings 50 years of experience in the heavy-duty truck industry, including 37 years with the company. He got his start in 1976 working in the parts department at a dealership. Alan specializes in Navistar and has extensive knowledge of Navistar, Cummins, Dana and Eaton products. Customers often rely on him to track down hard-to-find parts. Alan enjoys helping customers find what they need, regardless of the type of part. He takes pride in getting it right the first time and making sure customers receive the correct parts for the job. Outside of work, Alan enjoys fishing.

Chris Wienken
General Manager
Chris Wienken is the General Manager and brings 32 years of experience in the heavy-duty truck industry, including 22 years with the company. He got his start selling cement mixer parts in 1994. Chris specializes in power steering gears, power steering pumps, fan clutches and core purchasing. His product knowledge includes Horton, Kit Masters, TRW, R.H. Sheppard and ZF. Chris frequently helps customers troubleshoot steering and fan clutch problems. He believes the best way to serve his customers is to learn as much as possible about the products he sells and find the right solution to get them back on the road. Outside of work, Chris enjoys camping, hiking and working on his 40-acre ranch.
