LIMITED WARRANTY
Eaton Authorized Rebuilder
Chalk’s Truck Parts, Inc. (hereafter referred to as the Company) warrants all rebuilt manual transmissions (hereafter referred to as units) against failure
for a period of twenty-four (24) months from the date of sale with Eaton approved lubricant (PS-386). This warranty does not cover damages or costs as a result of accident,
neglect, improper maintenance of abuse. Each rebuilt unit is identified with a serial number on a metal tag
attached to the unit. IF THIS TAG IS REMOVED, WARRANTY IS CANCELED.
In the event of failure to a unit, the customer must notify the Company BEFORE any work is done. The unit must be returned to the
Company freight prepaid for inspection. Upon determination that the failure is covered by warranty, the Company will replace or repair the failed unit and reimburse
the customer for any approved freight charges incurred in returning the failed unit. On warranted units, any labor charges for the removal and installation of the unit will be
reimbursed up to the predetermined limit set by the Company for that type of unit. NO LABOR CHARGES IN EXCESS OF THIS LIMIT WILL BE PAID.
The warranty does not cover cost related to the lost business, down time, towing charges or any other cost not expressly set out above.
No other warranty is implied.
This warranty is null and void if any repairs to the unit are made
without PRIOR AUTHORIZATION of the Company.
If failure is handled via an OE dealer – dealer to contact Eaton. Eaton Real Time Warranty will provide assistance and direct & authorize
the repair (parts approved for repair & labor hours for the job) and advise claim filing process through the Authorized Rebuilder.
